KING OF DEVOTION (Son of Rapunzel) eBOOK
You all know the story of Rapunzel, but did you ever wonder what happened after the fairytale ending? Well we know. Not all afters end up happily, sometimes the real adventure starts much later...
The princess of Floris is engaged to marry a rich and handsome duke. It’s a fairy tale romance, one I’m destined to watch from afar. After all, I’m the palace’s head gardener, and gardeners don’t marry princesses. Lilian has been everything to me since the minute she was born. Now, with her wedding weeks away, she has a future, a fiancé, and a kingdom, and I can’t get in the way. My mentor has always said that work is the best cure for an aching heart, and I have plenty to do. As head gardener, it’s up to me to ensure that Floris retains its reputation as the home of the most magical flowers in the world. But flowers have begun to die on the palace grounds, taking with them my last hopes of a happily ever after.
My name is Deon, son of Rapunzel and here is my story.
Following famous fairytale characters, eighteen years after their happily ever after, the Kingdom of Fairytales offers an edge of the seat thrill ride in an all new and sensational way to read.
Lighting-fast reads you won’t be able to put down
Fantasy has never been so epic!
I love the whole concept of this series. I also enjoyed how this one's focus is on flowers and many character names are flower names too!
*** Read in Kindle Unlimited ***This is a great addition to the Kingdom of Fairtales series. I really enjoy how the author changes small things in the old story and makes things new
This story has a lot to do with flowers, it made it kind of hard for myself to get into it because I have a black thumb not a green one. There is a touch of romance, magic and intrigue and a whole lot of woe is me.
This time the story is not told from the perspective of a daughter or son of a country’s leader, but from the palace’s head gardener Deon. Who is sooo in love with princess Lilian. But she’s betrothed to a Duke. Floris is known for the beautiful flowers year-round. But there’s a problem. A big problem. A problem even Deon’s über-green fingers can’t do something about. It was a nice and sweet story. With likeable characters.
